Health and Wellness Fair FlyerCHICAGO – State Senator Javier Loera Cervantes will be hosting a health and wellness fair at Poder’s headquarters in Chicago on Monday, April 20.

“This event is a great way for people in the community to make sure they are taking care of themselves,” said Cervantes (D-Chicago). “From the health screenings to health insurance enrollment assistance, there are numerous ways that residents can find value in attending the health fair.”

The event will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Monday, April 20 at Poder’s headquarters in Chicago, located at 3357 W. 55th Street.

The free event will connect residents with health resources, screenings and information, including kidney and diabetes screenings, dental consultations, HIV testing and skin cancer screenings. Some of the organizations that will be at the health fair are the National Kidney Foundation, Chicago Medical Society and Sinai Chicago.
